Day 36




















Today, I woke up around 9 am and went to the original Museum of Broken Relationships (the second one is in LA, but who cares). Relationships are tough. The exhibits were interesting and I'm glad those individuals were able to find peace within the hurt and pain that results from broken relationships. Also, I really enjoyed the second picture found at their cafe. After the museum, we grabbed a croissant and made our way to Zadar. Now, I am at the airbnb getting ready to head to a seafood dinner and then out for the night.

Also, I'm finally all caught up! Sorry for the delay, I know you've all been waiting on my wonderful posts!!!

The majority of Sunday consisted of traveling back to Vienna. Anjali and I spent 9 hours on the bus ride home, but we made the most of it by working on our final papers for health psych. After we reached Vienna, I unpacked and took myself on a date. I walked around the first district until I found exactly what I was looking for - wiener schnitzel. I enjoyed my glass of wine, wiener schnitzel, potato salad, and last but not least, dessert! I may or may not have dropped €30 on myself, but who treats me better than myself? It was so lovely not checking my phone or the time and just being in my own company. Also, there was no way that I could resist this dessert...look at it. Just look at it. It was a night well spent, especially exploring the city afterwards :)

On Wednesday, I appreciated one of the last sunsets on the roof by myself. It was one of my favorite views of the city. As the end of my trip neared, I felt a wave of emotions. Mostly sadness to be leaving such a wonderful city but excitement for the future (especially for a week in Italy with my mom)!

Yesterday was a busy, busy day. I woke up, attended classes, grabbed ice cream with friends, walked around the first district for awhile, and caught up on my blog while sitting on a window sill with a nice view. Following all of this, I attended a dance lesson with everyone to learn the quadrille for the Concordia Ball on Friday. I'm super excited for everything in store this upcoming weekend - exploring the pubs here in Vienna on Thursday, a day trip to Semmering on Friday, the ball on Friday night, a day trip to Bratislava on Saturday, and a visit to the Freud museum on Sunday!
