Day 7

Prague...you were a time. On Thursday, we caught the train in Vienna around 10:30 am and arrived in Prague around 2:30 pm. We walked to our hostel and settled in for a bit before walking around to view the city. These pictures were taken while walking around and let me tell you, they don't do this place justice. The architecture is simply beautiful and I couldn't get enough of the view from the bridge. After we finished observing the scenery, we walked back to the hostel for a free Italian meal followed by a trip to grab some delicious gelato - I had oreo and chocolate, need I say more? With gelato in hand, I strolled the streets accompanied by friends from my program group. We found a peaceful place to sit and talk by the water before heading back to the hostel to call it a night. It was a nice day and a great start to an even better weekend.

I noticed that Vienna and Prague are quite different from each other, but both cities are beautifully unique.

I enjoyed the architecture, streets, and colorful buildings in Prague and the historical, ancient feel the city offered. Its beauty is unmatched.

Vienna's structures are designed more modernly, and the city contains a more contemporary feel. I admire the set up of the city and the hidden beauty found within each district.
