Day 9
On Saturday, I walked around the city with a couple of friends and found a cool place to have lunch. I was very excited to try Czech cuisine, which was pretty tasty if I do say so myself. We saw the John Lennon wall and all of the writings people had left behind. I was touched that most of the writings were primarily centered around love, peace, and kindness. I took pictures of my favorite sayings written by others and then left a mark of my own. We continued our walk throughout the city and found the perfect place to overlook the beautiful city. After walking around for awhile, I returned to the hostel for a quick nap before indulging in Cuban food, mojitos, wine, and beer prepared by people from the hostel. We ate, drank, and talked before heading on another pub crawl for the night. I talked with people from Norway and Germany and learned a little bit about them. I'm glad I had the opportunity to meet so many cool, interesting people. The pub crawl was a blast and we ended the night around 4:30 am.
Throughout the course of the weekend, I was able to try delicious food and gelato, meet and learn about different people, see the history of the city, and experience life at its full extent. Thanks for all of the memories Prague, I'll be back for you one day.
